🏢 What you’ll be doing

The Senior Proposal Associate takes on complex proposals and mentors junior team members. They prepare and oversee the creation of project proposals and change orders, and contribute to improving the proposal process with greater autonomy. Next to that the Sr. Proposal Associate helps to further improve the proposal process in collaboration with the Proposal Manager.

• Leads the preparation of complex and high-value project proposals and change orders.
• Acts as a primary point of contact for key stakeholders (BD, Sales, clients, etc.) for proposal-related matters.
• Mentors and provides guidance to Proposal Associates and Assistants.
• Collaborates with the Proposal Manager to identify and implement improvements to the proposal process.
• Reviews and approves budget estimates and proposal documentation created by junior team members.
• Attends internal and external meetings as a senior representative of the proposal department, including bid-defense meetings

💪 What you bring

• Master degree in biological or (para-) medical sciences or equivalent by experience
• Minimum of 5 years experience in clinical research with a strong focus on proposal development.
• Strong experience using Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a Project Management position.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Advanced oral and written communication skills, with a proven ability to negotiate and persuade.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Proposal management software is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal skills, team player
• Fluent in English. Other languages are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
