  • The Leadership Track is helping me fine-tune my leadership approach, communicate with greater impact, and gain practical tools that directly benefit my team and our goals.

Mayte's Leadership Track Experience

  • As Manager of Drug Safety & Medical Information, I coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure our projects align with QbD Group’s strategy. In this role, I’ve learned to make informed decisions and communicate clearly with my team. Through the Leadership Track, I aim to enhance my leadership skills and apply new insights in my daily work. My goal is to continue growing both personally and professionally, improving my leadership approach and making an even greater impact at QbD Group.

  • I joined the Leadership Track to further develop my leadership abilities and enhance team management within the Vigilance division. I was eager to learn from other managers, gain expert training, and apply new tools to improve workplace dynamics and conflict resolution. Before starting, I felt grateful and motivated for this opportunity.

  • The program has been a highly positive experience so far. The initial sessions have been dynamic, practical, and directly relevant to the challenges we face as leaders. I particularly enjoyed the training on strategic thinking and how to translate strategy into clear objectives and actions. 

    The session on decision-making was also eye-opening, offering new perspectives on team management. The workshops on negotiation techniques and client focus have been equally valuable. Overall, my first impressions are excellent - high-quality content, experienced trainers, and an inspiring learning environment.

  • Even though my role remains the same, the program has already helped me structure team strategies more effectively and communicate objectives with greater clarity. For example, after the strategic thinking session, I reviewed our operational goals such as those related to Netsuite, Power BI, and VENA to ensure they aligned with our broader outcomes. This improved internal planning and strengthened team commitment to shared objectives.

  • A key value of the program is the opportunity to connect with colleagues from different divisions. It’s been insightful to learn about their leadership approaches and team management styles. Despite working in different areas, we often face similar challenges. Hearing their experiences has given me new perspectives and valuable ideas for my own role.

  • The collaboration with external trainers has been incredibly valuable. They explain concepts clearly and provide real-world examples that make it easy to apply what we learn. Their experience ensures the sessions are practical, engaging, and directly relevant to our leadership roles.

  • One of the most valuable lessons has been learning how to translate strategy into clear, tactical objectives and actions. This has helped me provide better direction to my team. The decision-making session was particularly useful in refining my approach to making efficient, well-informed choices. Additionally, the training on negotiation techniques and client focus has given me valuable insights into improving communication and handling discussions more effectively.

  • My key goals are to continue strengthening my leadership skills, improve team communication, and become more effective in handling difficult conversations. I also want to refine my approach to remote leadership, as part of my team works remotely. By the end of the program, I aim to feel more confident in my role, equipped with practical tools that I can apply daily, and have a clearer vision of how to lead effectively at QbD Group.

  • I would encourage them to go for it! It’s a fantastic opportunity to gain self-awareness as a leader, develop practical skills, and learn from peers across different divisions. Beyond the content, the program offers valuable perspective, boosts confidence, and fosters leadership growth in an open, supportive environment.

  • I’m thoroughly enjoying the program, but I think adding one-on-one sessions with trainers would be a great enhancement. This would allow for deeper exploration of specific topics. Additionally, incorporating more real-world case studies relevant to each division could help reinforce the concepts we are learning.

  • Yes, I want to express my gratitude for the opportunity to be part of this program. It has been an enriching experience for both my professional and personal growth. 

    I also appreciate the chance to connect with colleagues from different divisions, something that doesn’t often happen in daily operations. I’m confident that what I’m learning will positively impact my leadership approach, my interactions with my team, and my collaboration with other departments and clients.
