Putting our ‘Gain and Share Knowledge’ pillar into action
At QbD Group, continuous learning is part of who we are. It’s not just encouraged - it’s embedded in our DNA through our career pillar ‘Gain and Share Knowledge’. Whether you're deep into clinical operations, regulatory strategy, or creative marketing, staying curious and upskilling regularly helps us grow stronger together. That’s why we actively encourage our colleagues to take part in relevant in-person and online trainings throughout the year.
One great example of this? In May 2025, members of our Spanish team came together for a full-day session focused on ‘Effective and Assertive Communication’ - a training that fits perfectly under our career pillar ‘Gain and Share Knowledge’.

Why this topic?
Clear and confident communication is a powerful skill no matter your role or seniority. This training was all about learning how to express yourself in a way that’s respectful, persuasive, and constructive, while also tuning into the needs and perspectives of others. From handling challenging conversations to giving better feedback or negotiating effectively, the session provided hands-on tools that can be applied straight away.
Putting it into practice
Rosa Ramos, Marketing Communications Specialist at QbD Spain, found it especially relevant to her day-to-day work:
“I found it to be a very practical and valuable session, especially for a team like Marketing, where clarity and persuasiveness in our messaging are essential. I particularly appreciated the tips on how to structure our messages more clearly and concisely, as well as the negotiation strategies that help us advocate for our ideas without creating tension.”
The training also looked ahead by touching on the role of AI in communication, something we’re increasingly exploring as a team:
“Another highlight was the inclusion of artificial intelligence as a support tool in our daily communication whether it’s writing more effective emails, preparing meetings, or structuring content. I believe this is something we can keep exploring to enhance both our efficiency and the quality of our communication.”
Learning that lasts
This wasn’t just a box-ticking exercise, it was a day full of real insights, open discussions, and practical techniques that the team is already applying. It also created space to reflect on how we communicate as individuals and as a team something that has a direct impact on collaboration and performance.
