To expand our services and offerings within Wallonia, we are looking for a Senior Account Manager with a proven track record to join our Belgian commercial team.
Do you have a network in the vibrant life science industry and are a hero in building strong relationships with key decision makers? Do you have experience with selling high value Expert Services and Projects? Then this position might be a match!
What do we expect from you as a Senior Account Manager?
- Develop, implement and drive sales strategies and actions to expand the life science business
- Build new and expand existing client relationships across multiple functions with key decision makers at C-suite and operational level
- Build long-term customer relationships and strategic business partnerships in order to support clients through their journey from idea to patient.
- Identify customer needs, respond to inquiries and propose creative solutions in a timely manner
- Establish and manage a pipeline of opportunities in order to achieve sales targets
- Manage the full sales process from lead identification to contracting with accurate follow-up in the CRM system
- Expand your network in the medical device and life sciences sector by playing an active role in different networking associations
- In addition to an external network, you also build your internal network within the organization with QbD consultants, sales colleagues, HR, marketing… We do sales together, with you in the lead.
Who are we looking for?
- Master’s degree in a scientific field, with 10+ years of sales experience.
- Strong track record in building and managing relationships with mid to senior-level stakeholders;
- Established network within the pharma/biotech sector (QA, Manufacturing, Validation, Site Heads, GM's);
- Comfortable discussing technical topics in medical devices, pharma, and biotech;
- Ability to engage clients across key areas of product development: clinical, regulatory, quality, validation, and software validation;
- Fluent in French and in English.
