Celebrating the EU's First Biosimilar Enoxaparin
In 2026, SciencePharma celebrates the 10th anniversary of the greatest achievement in the company's history: the independent development, registration, and successful launch of Neoparin, containing enoxaparin sodium. First introduced in Poland and later across the European Union, Neoparin became the first biosimilar enoxaparin approved in the EU.
Learning, Connecting, and Celebrating in Madrid
On 25 June, the second edition of QbD Learn & Connect took place in Madrid, bringing together clients and other professionals from Spain's pharmaceutical industry for an evening of discussion, networking, and celebration around the sector's biggest challenges.
This year's edition featured two high-calibre speakers. Diego González Rivas, a world-renowned thoracic surgeon, shared his career journey and the story behind the non-invasive technique he developed for treating lung cancer. Ruth Martín, General Manager of Theramex Iberia, spoke about the importance of innovation in women's health.
Five Years of Regulatory Affairs, Built on Trust
Five years ago, QbD Group made a bold move: building a dedicated Regulatory Affairs practice, starting with Medical Devices. The timing was no coincidence. Manufacturers across Europe were navigating the complex shift from the Medical Device Directive to the Medical Device Regulation, and demand for expert guidance was surging.
Today, the RA MD team has grown to seven people across two countries, united by a shared commitment: helping medical device clients achieve and maintain MDR compliance, secure FDA clearance, and navigate the full lifecycle of their products with confidence.
Five years of momentum, and five years of trust built with clients who stayed because the quality spoke for itself. The loyalty of our earliest customers remains our proudest achievement
Barcelona Blends Business Review with Team Building
On 15 July, the Q2 Country Review took place at the Barcelona office, bringing together the Sales, Marketing, and HR teams to review the country's progress and plan next steps.
With everyone together in the office, the team also took the opportunity to run a DISC team-building exercise, getting to know each other better, aligning on ways of working, and learning how to communicate more effectively with one another.

De Collectie: Giving Clothes a Second Life ♻️
This January, QbD Group joined forces with De Collectie, an Antwerp-based initiative that gives donated clothing and textiles a second life while supporting people in need. A simple action with a double impact: supporting people in need and reducing textile waste at the same time. Thank you to everyone who took part and helped make this collection a success!

Katrinahof: How Small Actions Create Meaningful Impact
At QbD Group, meaningful impact does not always start with big gestures. Sometimes it starts with a used tea bag envelope.
We are proud to shine a spotlight on Katrinahof, a wonderful organization dedicated to supporting people with disabilities, including Wim, the brother of our CEO Bart Van Acker. At our Antwerp office, we collect used tea bag envelopes that the residents of Katrinahof creatively reuse in their craft projects.

In 2025, We Rallied for Fin 💛
In 2025, the QbD Group Foundation rallied behind Fin, a brave little boy living with 1p36 Deletion Syndrome and the nephew of our colleague Lauren Van Duyse.
Thanks to the generosity of our colleagues, we raised a total of €1,821.89, handed directly to Fin and his mama to help cover the care and support they need.

A Big Thank You to Our Blood Donors!
In April, a group of QbD Group colleagues rolled up their sleeves and donated blood at Donorcentrum Edegem. A simple but powerful act, as a single donation can help save up to three lives.

2026 Charity: World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH)
For 2026, the QbD Group Foundation has chosen the World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) as its supported charity. This is a cause with a deeply personal dimension for our team.

For once, we took Feasty Friday outside. On Friday, June 19, 2026, we swapped the usual setup for a special summer afterwork edition at Park den Brandt in Antwerp. Open air, cold drinks, good food, and even better company made it one of the most relaxed Feasty Fridays we have had.
